Not all that long ago I would have liked to have thought of myself as a fun loving girl who was living it up in the city. Well clearly times have changed because this suburban M-R-S and mom is fired up about a recent furniture revamp I just completed.
We moved into our home about 6 months ago and have been settling in and decorating. When we moved in we were blessed with some "vintage" wallpaper (think crazy ivy and lots of hot 80's florals). It has been a process but I find it quite enjoyable. I have recently become obsessed with design blogs.
This old desk was mine as a child but was in need of some flare.
After some sanding, primer, paint, and fab new knobs from Anthropologie my old desk now has a new home in Piper's room. Next up for the room is some wall art and window treatments. I'll share some more home transformations soon enough.
In the meantime I leave for Vegas this weekend for WPPI (a mega convention for wedding and portrait photographers) where I hope to regain a little of my cool back.
Didn't you know that all you have to do is take a bottle of Bacardi in one hand and a coke in the other, close your eyes and just tap your heels together, and keep saying "I will be cool....I will be cool...I will be..." well, that is until the baby screams and then you just pour the drink and have a nice BIG sip!!! ; )
